SERIGNE MOUNTAKHA : « Dieu décide de tout… C’est Lui qui crée les maladies, leurs remèdes et c’est Lui qui nous demande de prendre nos dispositions »

Autant dire que son discours de ce samedi  11 avril était principalement destiné à amortir les fortes inquiétudes des Sénégalais de la diaspora qui vivent dans des pays où le Covid-19 tue par centaines au quotidien. Serigne Mountakha Mbacké Bassirou a tenu à leur remonter le moral, leur rappelant que ses prières vont sans cesse à leur endroit. 

Par la voix de son porte-parole, Serigne Bassirou Mbacké Abdou Khadre, le Patriarche de Darou Marnane a fourni un discours qui apaise mais qui renvoie à une adoration singulière de Dieu. 

​« Je conseille à tous les musulmans et à tous les mourides de retourner spirituellement vers Dieu, de se rappeler que Dieu est Seul dans ce qu’Il est. Seul Dieu fait et défait. Lui Seul est maître des événements. Acceptons les choses comme elles sont. Serigne Touba a tout fait pour nous et a formulé toutes les sortes de prières dont nous avons besoin et Dieu les a toutes acceptées.  Craignons Dieu et  donnons foi à son Unicité ».

Serigne Bassirou Mbacké de poursuivre :  « Que ces Sénégalais qui vivent hors du Sénégal  sachent que le Khalife ne cesse de penser à eux et que ses prières vont à leur endroit. Il leur demande de s’entraider autant qu’ils le peuvent »

Cette même solidarité, Serigne Mountakha la souhaitera entre les autochtones en cette période, dit-il, où il y a une récession économique qui va s’aggravant chaque jour davantage. Le chef religieux d’ajouter que  la volonté du Patriarche, après avoir donné 200 millions de francs en guise d’appui au combat mené contre le covid19, a été de consentir un nouveau  geste qui ira directement vers les populations nécessiteuses. 

Dans son discours, il ne manquera pas de rappeler que les malédictions sont l’apanage exclusive du Seigneur. « Quiconque veut se conformer aux enseignements de Serigne Touba doit rendre à Dieu ce qui appartient à Dieu. Tout ce que Dieu nous impose comme épreuve, nous devons l’accepter et nous devons nous montrer endurants… Les plus grands érudits de l’Islam ont eu à endurer des épreuves de Dieu. Dieu éprouve ses esclaves (…) Toute personne qui meurt en pareille période de maladie, peut espérer la clémence de Dieu. Le Khalife a très tôt compris qu’une malédiction allait s’abattre sur le monde et sur le Sénégal. C’est pourquoi, aussitôt, il avait demandé que des récitals de Coran soient organisés. Dieu a créé les maladies, leurs remèdes et exigé des personnes qu’elles prennent leurs précautions pour les éviter ». 

Cette déclaration intervient quelques heures après qu’un nouveau cas de Covid-19 a été  détecté dans la cité religieuse et vient rappeler aux populations l’urgence de respecter davantage les mesures d’hygiène.
