L’homme d’affaires, Elimane Lam, fondateur et président de JP Holding, fait partie des « businessmen » les plus influents du Sénégal. Très discret, sérieux et charismatique, l’homme d’affaires a été inscrit récemment dans le lot des 50 jeunes africains les plus influents. Ayant un sens élevé du patriotisme économique, Elimane, en généreux donateur, a offert 10 millions de FCfa à l’occasion du Téléthon organisé par la TFM pour contribuer à la lutte contre le Covid 19. La jeunesse est loin d’être un frein ou une contrainte pour certains Sénégalais. Très dégourdis, ils savent prendre des initiatives porteuses qui contribuent de manière significative à l’économie nationale. C’est le cas de l’homme d’affaires Elimane Lam qui a offert 10 millions de FCfa à l’occasion du Téléthon de la TFM. Une contribution visant à apporter une riposte contre le Covid-19. Malgré sa jeunesse, Elimane Lam sait flairer les affaires. Fondateur et président de JP Holding, il s’est engagé à fructifier ses investissements dans divers domaines de l’économie. Une manière d’écrire son histoire à lui.

Ainsi, Elimane Lam, insatiable dans sa montée en puissance, a investi dans le club espagnol de Real de Valladolid, dont l’actionnaire majoritaire est le phénomène brésilien Ronaldo avec 51 %. Avec un investissement de 1 million d’euros, le Sénégalais a fait son entrée dans ce Club par l’intermédiaire d’un ami espagnol avec qui, il travaille depuis des années. D’après des proches, accrochés, Lam, très méthodique et organisé, a acheté des actions par simple passion. Et pourtant, au moment d’investir, le club était entre 2016-2017, en D2. « Le club est monté en première division en 2018. Lorsqu’il montait, il était 5e du championnat. Après, il a joué les matchs de barrages pour monter en 1ère division », confie-t-on.

L’homme d’affaires Elimane Lam a son binôme dans les affaires. Plus que des amis et partenaire en affaires, Aziz Ndiaye, l’évocation du nom de l’un fait penser à l’autre. Ces deux amis, font presque tout en duo. Illustration d’une entente parfaite, ces deux hommes d’affaires, au nom de l’Unacois, étaient parmi les principaux acteurs de la signature de l’accord entre les commerçants sénégalais, le gouvernement et les huiliers. Et l’accord signé avec les huiliers stipule que les importateurs vont s’approvisionner en priorité sur le marché local auprès des huiliers. Certes, les marges gagnées sont plus faibles. Mais, constate-t-on, cela permet de doper l’économie, de sauver le monde rural et le secteur agricole.

Elimane Lam et son ami Aziz Ndiaye commercialisent l’huile « J’adore » sur le marché. Et la marque est en train de monter en gamme. Elimane Lam, bien connu à Dakar, manifeste son désir ardent d’aider le gouvernement à rendre viable la filière arachidière.
