La ministre de la Santé Agnès Buzyn a annoncé samedi 8 février que 5 nouveaux cas du virus 2019-nCov ont été détectés en France. Il s’agit de quatre adultes et un enfant. «Leur état clinique ne présente aucun signe de gravité», a dit la ministre.
«Le cas initial nous a été signalé hier soir, il s’agit d’un ressortissant britannique de retour de Singapour où il avait séjourné du 20 au 23 janvier», a souligné Agnès Buzyn. Celui-ci a séjourné en France du 24 au 28 janvier dans un chalet des Contamines-Montjoie, en Haute-Savoie. Dans ce chalet se trouve deux appartements. Dans le premier, trois personnes – dont le cas initial – ont été diagnostiquées «positif» et quatre autres souffrent de symptômes mineurs. Dans le second appartement, un père et son enfant ont également été contaminés. La mère, qui n’était pas présente, a été prise en charge à l’hôpital sur le sol britannique.
«L’ensemble des cas positifs et les contacts de ce ressortissant britannique, tous de nationalité britannique, ont été hospitalisés cette nuit dans trois hôpitaux à Lyon, Saint-Etienne et Grenoble», a précisé Agnès Buzyn. Les autorités retracent actuellement les contacts étroits de ces personnes.
Un numéro de téléphone spécifique, le 0800 100 379, a été mis en place pour les personnes concernées par ce regroupement de plusieurs cas.
Selon cette annonce, il y a désormais 11 cas en France, tous pris en charge. Plusieurs d’entre eux pourraient prochainement rentrer chez eux. Une personne est toujours dans un état grave.
